Scroll down for English version ⯆ Οι δρόμοι γύρω από την Εκκλησία Αγίων Ομολογητών ανοίγουν για μια ζεστή, χριστουγεννιάτικη συνάντηση γειτονιάς. Την Κυριακή 21 Δεκεμβρίου, από τις 11:00 έως τις 17:00, κάτοικοι και φίλοι της περιοχής συναντιούνται για να γιορτάσουν μαζί, μετατρέποντας τον δημόσιο χώρο σε σημείο χαράς, παιχνιδιού και επικοινωνίας. 🎟️ Δωρεάν είσοδος. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει χριστουγεννιάτικα κάλαντα, τοπικές χειροτεχνίες, παιχνίδια δρόμου, εργαστήρια placemaking, καθώς και γιορτινό φαγητό και ποτό 🎄 Στην πλατεία της εκκλησίας στήνεται ένα μεγάλο κοινό τραπέζι για pot luck και bake sale, ενθαρρύνοντας όλους να φέρουν φαγητό ή σπιτικά γλυκά. Η δράση έχει και κοινωνικό χαρακτήρα, καθώς μέρος του bake sale συγκεντρώνει χρήματα για τη φύτευση νέων δέντρων σε άδεια σημεία των δρόμων της γειτονιάς. Η πρωτοβουλία διοργανώνεται από φίλους και κατοίκους των Αγίων Ομολογητών, με στόχο να ζωντανέψουν οι δρόμοι και να ενισχυθεί το αίσθημα κοινότητας 🐢 Οι επισκέπτες καλούνται να αποφύγουν τη στάθμευση στους δρόμους της περιοχής, ώστε ο χώρος να παραμείνει ασφαλής και ανοιχτός για παιχνίδι, συζητήσεις και συνάντηση. 🗓️ Πρόγραμμα Κυριακή, 21 Δεκεμβρίου 2025 | 11:00–17:00 (Εκκλησία Αγίων Ομολογητών, Λευκωσία) EN A Christmas neighbourhood gathering in Nicosia, Cyprus, brings the streets around Agioi Omologites Church to life on Sunday, December 21, from 11:00 to 17:00. This open, community-led event invites neighbours and visitors to celebrate together in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. 🎟️ Free entry. The day features Christmas carols, local crafts, street games, placemaking workshops, and festive food and drinks 🎄 A long communal table will be set up in the church square for a bring-your-own potluck, bake sale, community kitchen, and shared conversations. Part of the bake sale will raise funds for planting new trees in empty spots along the neighbourhood streets, adding a meaningful environmental dimension to the celebration.
