Scroll down for English version ↓ Ένα ξεχωριστό χριστουγεννιάτικο φεστιβάλ σκακιού έρχεται το Σάββατο 14 Δεκεμβρίου 2025, στις 10:00 π.μ., στο κτίριο της ΠΟΕΔ στη Λευκωσία. Η εκδήλωση απευθύνεται σε νεαρούς σκακιστές όλων των ηλικιών, προσφέροντας δωρεάν συμμετοχή και μια γιορτινή εμπειρία γεμάτη άμιλλα, συγκινήσεις και χριστουγεννιάτικη διάθεση. Διοργανώνεται από τους Σκακιστικούς Ομίλους ΚΑΙΣΣΑ και Κρίτων Τορναρίτης, σε συνεργασία με τον Σκακιστικό Όμιλο ΠΑΣΥΔΥ Λευκωσίας. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα διαγωνιστούν σε ξεχωριστές κατηγορίες (U8 έως U18), με έπαθλα για τους τρεις πρώτους κάθε ηλικιακής ομάδας και επιπλέον χρηματικά βραβεία για τους νικητές. Το τουρνουά διεξάγεται σε 7 γύρους Swiss, με χρόνο σκέψης 10’ + 3’’ ανά παίκτη, προσφέροντας ένα δίκαιο και δυναμικό περιβάλλον αγώνων. The event welcomes young players of all ages with free participation, creating a friendly and seasonal atmosphere filled with competitive spirit and holiday excitement. It is organised by Kaissa Chess Club and Kriton Tornaritis Chess Club, in collaboration with the PASYDY Nicosia / Kriton Tornaritis Chess Club. Participants will compete in separate age groups (U8 to U18), with awards for the top three in each category and additional cash prizes for the winners. The tournament follows a 7-round Swiss format with a time control of 10’ + 3’’ per player, offering a balanced and enjoyable competition.
