A creative sewing workshop for adults at A. G. Leventis Gallery this February, where participants design a knot bag inspired by the Paris Collection and toile de Jouy. Scroll down for English version 👇 Ένα δημιουργικό εργαστήριο ραπτικής για ενήλικες φιλοξενείται στη A. G. Leventis Gallery, όπου η ραπτική συναντά την τέχνη μέσα από τη Συλλογή του Παρισιού. Με την καθοδήγηση των δασκάλων μόδας Γεωργία Μοδίτη και Άννα Αποστόλου, οι συμμετέχοντες θα δημιουργήσουν τη δική τους knot τσάντα, δουλεύοντας με το εμβληματικό ύφασμα toile de Jouy. Το εργαστήριο αντλεί έμπνευση από τα χαρακτηριστικά μοτίβα που έγιναν διάσημα στη Γαλλία του 18ου αιώνα, με ειδυλλιακές σκηνές, στοιχεία φύσης και στιγμές καθημερινότητας, τυπωμένα σε μία απόχρωση πάνω σε λευκό φόντο. G. Leventis Gallery and brings together fashion and art through inspiration from the Paris Collection. Guided by fashion educators Georgia Moditi and Anna Apostolou, participants will design and create their own knot bag using the iconic toile de Jouy fabric. Drawing from the decorative patterns that became famous in 18th-century France, the workshop combines hands-on sewing with an introduction to the historical and artistic background of the textile.
