Στη μαγευτική αυλή του Amyth of Nicosia — ενός αναστηλωμένου αρχοντικού μέσα στα μεσαιωνικά βενετσιάνικα τείχη της παλιάς Λευκωσίας — ο Φαίδων αναπολεί τη ζωή του, τον έρωτα, τη δουλεία και τη μαθητεία του στο «Σύμπαν» του Σωκράτη. Ο Φαίδων, αριστοκράτης από την Ηλεία, εξιστορεί στον Κέβη — αμφότεροι ακόλουθοι του Σωκράτη — τη δόξα της εφηβείας του ως αθλητής, τη στιγμή που ο Αλκιβιάδης τον αγόρασε από τη δουλεία εκ μέρους του Σωκράτη, και την πνευματική διαδρομή που ακολούθησε. Performed on 4 and 5 October 2026 at 19:00, this intimate production weaves together love, memory, slavery, and Socratic philosophy into 45 minutes of pure poetic theatre. 🎟️ Ticket prices start from €20 (includes a glass of white Penfolds wine). Drawing from Yourcenar's collection "Fires", the piece gives voice to Phaedron — an Elian aristocrat and follower of Socrates — as he recounts his life to Keves: his glory as a young athlete, the moment Alcibiades purchased him from slavery on behalf of Socrates, and the profound spiritual journey that followed under philosophy's greatest mind.
