Discover Cyprus history through art and creativity at this bilingual summer camp for children aged 6-12 in Nicosia, June 2026. --- Scroll down for English version 👇 --- Το Λεβέντειο Δημοτικό Μουσείο Λευκωσίας και η Λεβέντειος Πινακοθήκη προσκαλούν τους μικρούς τους φίλους σε ένα καλοκαιρινό ταξίδι γεμάτο φαντασία, δημιουργία και μουσειοπεριπέτειες στη Λευκωσία. Από 22 Ιουνίου έως 3 Ιουλίου 2026, τα παιδιά θα εξερευνήσουν την ιστορία της Κύπρου και της Λευκωσίας μέσα από την τέχνη και τα τεκμήρια του παρελθόντος. 🎟️ Εισιτήρια €300 (περιλαμβάνει καθημερινό γεύμα). Η αφετηρία του ταξιδιού θα είναι η προσωρινή έκθεση "Χριστόφορος Σάββα: Απλά – Περίπλοκα – Αόρατα" της Λεβέντειου Πινακοθήκης, καθώς και οι μόνιμες Συλλογές του Λεβέντειου Δημοτικού Μουσείου. Τα παιδιά θα ανακαλύψουν ιστορίες ανθρώπων και τόπων, θα ζωντανέψουν παραδόσεις και θα ταξιδέψουν σε μια άλλη εποχή. Με τη συνοδεία των μουσειοπαιδαγωγών Μάριελ Κουβέλη και Θεοδώρας Δημητρίου, τα παιδιά θα πειραματιστούν μέσα από το θέατρο, τη δημιουργική κίνηση, τη φύση και εικαστικές εμπειρίες. G. Leventis Gallery invite young friends on a summer journey filled with imagination, creativity and museum adventures in Nicosia, Cyprus. From June 22 to July 3, 2026, children will discover the history of Cyprus and Nicosia through art and historical documents in a vivid and creative way. 🎟️ Ticket prices start from €300 (includes daily lunch). The journey begins with the temporary exhibition "Christoforos Savva: Simple – Complex – Invisible: An unknown archive" at A. G. Leventis Gallery, plus the permanent Collections and Archive of the Leventis Municipal Museum. Young participants will uncover stories of people and places, bring traditions to life and travel to a Nicosia of another era, drawing inspiration from Savva's work and the city's memory. Guided by museum educators Mariel Kouveli and Theodora Demetriou with an experienced team of collaborators, children will experiment and create through theatre, creative movement, nature-based activities and unique visual arts experiences.
