Η Κύπρος αντιμετωπίζει σημαντική δημογραφική αλλαγή με αυξανόμενο ποσοστό ατόμων άνω των 65 ετών. Η συλλογική διαβίωση (cohousing) προτείνεται ως λύση που μειώνει την απομόνωση και ενισχύει την ανεξαρτησία των ηλικιωμένων.
