One of the most established voices in the Cyprus jazz scene, Troullidou brings a night of sophisticated live music to one of the city's most authentic jazz venues. 🎟️ Ticket prices start from €13 (€15 at the door). The quartet features: Ioanna Troullidou — Vocals Marios Toumbas — Piano Irenaeos Koullouras — Bass Ioannis Vafeas — Drums Troullidou studied classical music at the University of Pécs in Hungary, graduating with a master's in music teaching and choir conducting, and trained in jazz performance at Bornemissza Maria's singing school. During seven years in Hungary she served as lead singer of No More Blues Band, recording and performing alongside the group for over five years. Since 2007 she has been the Voice and Jazz Performance instructor at the European University Cyprus. In 2012 she released GET OUT OF TOWN, a collection of jazz standards arranged by saxophonist and composer Chris Byars. Her festival appearances include Aglanjazz 2013, Paradise Jazz Festival 2016, Old Port Jazz 2017, Düsseldorf Jazz Rally 2017, and the 7th Cyprus Jazz and World Music Rialto in 2020, where she presented her own original compositions.
