Scroll down for English version 👇 🏡 Η Λόφου είναι η νέα προσθήκη στα επίσημα Χριστουγεννιάτικα Χωριά του Υφυπουργείου Τουρισμού για την περίοδο 2026–27, από τις 21 Νοεμβρίου 2026 έως τις 6 Ιανουαρίου 2027. Θα λειτουργεί τα Σαββατοκύριακα έως τις 20 Δεκεμβρίου και καθημερινά από τις 21 Δεκεμβρίου. Μόλις 26 χλμ. από τη Λεμεσό, σε υψόμετρο περίπου 780 μέτρων, η Λόφου ξεχωρίζει για την καλά διατηρημένη πέτρινη αρχιτεκτονική και τα πλακόστρωτα δρομάκια της. ⛪ Ανάμεσα στα σημεία του χωριού βρίσκονται το παλιό σχολείο, το αγροτικό μουσείο, η βρύση της Ελιτζής του 1842 και η εκκλησία του Ευαγγελισμού της Θεοτόκου. Όπως σε όλα τα Χριστουγεννιάτικα Χωριά, προβλέπονται εορταστικός διάκοσμος, ξύλινα σπιτάκια με τοπικά προϊόντα και χειροτεχνίες, βιωματικά εργαστήρια χειροτεχνίας και οινογαστρονομίας, δραστηριότητες στη φύση όπως πεζοπορία και ποδηλασία, καθώς και ξεναγήσεις στο χωριό. Το ωράριο λειτουργίας και το αναλυτικό πρόγραμμα εκδηλώσεων θα ανακοινωθούν αργότερα. It will open on weekends until December 20 and daily from December 21. Just 26 km from Limassol at around 780 metres, Lofou stands out for its well-preserved stone architecture and cobbled lanes. ⛪ Village landmarks include the old school, the agricultural museum, the Elitzi fountain dating from 1842 and the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. As with all the Christmas Villages, festive decorations, wooden stalls with local products and crafts, hands-on craft and wine-and-food workshops, nature activities such as hiking and cycling, and guided village tours are planned.
