Scroll down for English version 👇 🍎 Η Κυπερούντα στην Πιτσιλιά είναι ένα από τα εννέα επίσημα Χριστουγεννιάτικα Χωριά του Υφυπουργείου Τουρισμού, από τις 21 Νοεμβρίου 2026 έως τις 6 Ιανουαρίου 2027. Θα λειτουργεί τα Σαββατοκύριακα έως τις 20 Δεκεμβρίου και καθημερινά από τις 21 Δεκεμβρίου. Σε υψόμετρο περίπου 1.300 μέτρων, η Κυπερούντα είναι από τα ψηλότερα κατοικημένα χωριά της Κύπρου και είναι γνωστή για τα μήλα, το κρασί και τα αλλαντικά της. Όπως σε όλα τα Χριστουγεννιάτικα Χωριά, προβλέπονται εορταστικός διάκοσμος, ξύλινα σπιτάκια με τοπικά προϊόντα και χειροτεχνίες, βιωματικά εργαστήρια χειροτεχνίας και οινογαστρονομίας, δραστηριότητες στη φύση όπως πεζοπορία και ποδηλασία, καθώς και ξεναγήσεις στο χωριό. 🥾 Στο χωριό βρίσκονται επίσης το Οινοποιείο Κυπερούντας, οι εκκλησίες της Αγίας Μαρίνας, του Αγίου Αρσενίου και του Τιμίου Σταυρού, τοπικά μουσεία και τα μονοπάτια «Δόξα σοι ο Θεός» και «Τεισιά της Μαδαρής». It will open on weekends until December 20 and daily from December 21. At around 1,300 metres, Kyperounta is one of the highest inhabited villages in Cyprus and is known for its apples, wine and cured meats. As with all the Christmas Villages, festive decorations, wooden stalls with local products and crafts, hands-on craft and wine-and-food workshops, nature activities such as hiking and cycling, and guided village tours are planned. 🥾 The village is also home to the Kyperounta Winery, the churches of Agia Marina, Agios Arsenios and Timios Stavros, local museums, and the "Doxa Si O Theos" and "Teisia tis Madaris" nature trails.
