LANGUAGE NOTICE Scroll down for English version ⯆ Μια εύκολη και απολαυστική πεζοπορία στο μονοπάτι Άρτεμις διοργανώνεται από τον Ελληνικό Ορειβατικό Σύλλογο Λευκωσίας, σε μια από τις πιο εντυπωσιακές κορυφές του Τροόδους. Η κυκλική διαδρομή των 7 χιλιομέτρων περιβάλλεται από Μαύρη Πεύκη, σπάνια χλωρίδα και ιδιαίτερη γεωλογία, σε υψόμετρο 1.850 μέτρων. Η ομάδα συγκεντρώνεται στις 09:00 και ξεκινά στις 09:15 από σημείο 500 μέτρα πριν τη σύνδεση του δρόμου προς Χιονίστρα με τον δρόμο Τροόδους–Προδρόμου. Η διάρκεια της πορείας είναι 2,5–3 ώρες, με βαθμό δυσκολίας 1 (εύκολο μονοπάτι). Σε περίπτωση χιονιού, η δυσκολία αυξάνεται σημαντικά. 🎟️ Συμμετοχή: €2 για μη μέλη (μαθητές/φοιτητές δωρεάν). Κατά μήκος της διαδρομής συναντάμε ένα αιωνόβιο δέντρο Μαύρης Πεύκης ηλικίας περίπου 500 ετών, καθώς και τα «Τεισιά της Παλιάς Χώρας», ενετικά οχυρωματικά κατάλοιπα του 1571. Οι συντονιστές επιβλέπουν την ασφάλεια της ομάδας, ενώ ισχύουν βασικοί κανόνες πορείας και απαιτείται κατάλληλος εξοπλισμός (ορειβατικά παπούτσια, νερό, σακίδιο, αδιάβροχο, γάντια κ.λπ.). 🗓️ Πρόγραμμα Δεκέμβριος 2025 | 09:00–12:00 (Μονοπάτι Άρτεμις, Τρόοδος) Συντονιστές: Νίκος 99698797, Ελένη 99067069. EN The Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Nicosia (EOS Lefkosia) invites hikers to a relaxed and scenic walk along the Artemis Trail, one of Troodos’ signature routes at 1,850m altitude. This 7km circular trail offers cool forest shade, Black Pine clusters, rare flora and geological features of great ecological interest. Meeting time is 09:00 and departure is at 09:15 from a point located 500m before the junction of the road to Chionistra with the Troodos–Prodromos road. The hike lasts 2.5–3 hours and is rated Difficulty Level 1 (easy). Snow conditions may significantly increase the difficulty. 🎟️ Participation: €2 for non-members (students and university students free). Hikers will see a 500-year-old Black Pine tree and the remains of the Venetian “Teisia tis Palias Horas,” linked to fortifications from 1571.
