Πρόκειται για μια αυθεντική περιπέτεια εκτός δρόμου, μέσα από απομακρυσμένα μονοπάτια, μεταβαλλόμενο τερέν και εντυπωσιακά ορεινά τοπία. Η διαδρομή είναι απαιτητική και πολυδιάστατη: ομαλά gravel κομμάτια, σκληρό πετρώδες έδαφος, απότομες αναβάσεις που δοκιμάζουν αντοχές, αλλά και σημεία όπου το ποδήλατο μεταφέρεται με τα χέρια. Ο προσανατολισμός παίζει καθοριστικό ρόλο, καθώς η συνεχής πλοήγηση αποτελεί μέρος της πρόκλησης. Ανάμεσα στην ένταση και την προσπάθεια, οι συμμετέχοντες καλούνται να απολαύσουν τη διαδρομή και το φυσικό τοπίο — αυτό ακριβώς σημαίνει Off the Beaten Path. Designed for riders ready to push their limits, the route delivers a raw off-road experience across remote trails, changing terrain, and dramatic mountain scenery. Expect smooth gravel stretches, hard-packed rocky sections, steep climbs, and carry-the-bike segments where riding isn’t possible. Constant navigation is part of the challenge, rewarding focus and endurance. Despite the difficulty, the event encourages riders to embrace the journey, enjoy the views, and capture the moments that define true gravel adventure.
