Scroll down for English version ↓ Η νέα παραγωγή της ΕΘΑΛ σε συνεργασία με το Point To Contemporary Theater φωτίζει πτυχές της κυπριακής ιστορίας, της συλλογικής μνήμης και της πολιτιστικής ταυτότητας μέσα από μια πρωτότυπη θεατρική προσέγγιση. Το έργο θα παρουσιαστεί από τις 6 Νοεμβρίου έως την 1 Δεκεμβρίου 2025 στη Λεμεσό και τη Λευκωσία. 🎟️ Εισιτήρια από €7. Με έμπνευση από το έργο “The Island” του Athol Fugard, η παράσταση αναδεικνύει το συλλογικό τραύμα και την πολυπλοκότητα της κυπριακής ταυτότητας, θέτοντας ερωτήματα για τη συμφιλίωση, τη μνήμη και τη συνύπαρξη. Μέσα από την εναλλαγή δύο αντίθετων φωνών, το κοινό βιώνει ένα βαθιά ανθρώπινο θέατρο με κοινωνικό και συναισθηματικό βάθος. Η ΕΘΑΛ εγκαινιάζει με αυτή την παραγωγή τη θεματική της για τη θεατρική περίοδο 2025–2026, με άξονα τη γλώσσα, τον διάλογο και την πολυπολιτισμικότητα του νησιού. The play runs from November 6 to December 1, 2025, in Limassol and Nicosia. 🎟️ Ticket prices start from €7. Inspired by Athol Fugard’s “The Island”, this production explores trauma and reconciliation through two opposing voices that echo Cyprus’ divided past and collective hope. With research-based storytelling and strong performances, it brings together emotion, reflection, and dialogue. ETHAL opens its 2025–2026 season with this piece, highlighting themes of language, communication, and multicultural identity.
