Organised by the Larnaka Cinema Society — a non-profit dedicated to film culture — the festival is supported by Larnaka 2030 (European Capital of Culture) and the Ministry of Culture. 🎬 What to expect: The festival opens on Wednesday, 27 August with a live performance by the "Aurora" string quartet, performing iconic soundtracks from world cinema history, followed by the very first film screening of the 2026 edition. Day two (28 August) features a special guided walking tour of the city paired with a screening of Dancing Queen. On 29 August, the festival hosts a dedicated filmmaking workshop for young creators aged 11–15, running alongside the regular film programme.
