Η διαδρομή είναι κυκλική, μήκους περίπου 10 χιλιομέτρων, με σχετικά ήπια κλίση και χωρίς τεχνικές δυσκολίες. Το μονοπάτι περιμετρικά του κάστρου εναλλάσσει θέα τόσο προς τη βόρεια όσο και προς τη νότια πλευρά της οροσειράς, δημιουργώντας μια από τις πιο ποικιλόμορφες και εντυπωσιακές πεζοπορίες της περιοχής. Το ίδιο το Κάστρο της Καντάρας, ένα από τα τρία σημαντικά μεσαιωνικά στρατιωτικά οχυρά του Πενταδάκτυλου, αποτελεί τον κεντρικό σταθμό της εμπειρίας. 🏞️ Η μετακίνηση θα ξεκινήσει από τη Λευκωσία με ενδιάμεσες στάσεις για επιβίβαση και διέλευση από οδόφραγμα. The hike follows a circular trail of approximately 10km with a gentle gradient and no technical difficulty. The route loops around the castle summit, alternating views between the northern and southern slopes of the mountain range, making it one of the most diverse and visually rewarding hikes in the area. Kantara Castle itself — one of the three major medieval fortresses of Pentadaktylos — stands as the highlight of the journey. 🏰 Transportation begins from Nicosia with additional pick-up points and border crossing. After completing the hike, participants will have free time to relax at Bogaz. ⚠️ Participation requires a valid ID or passport for crossing the checkpoint.
